Making a positive impact in the local community

At Holden Knight Education, we are delighted to be partnering Blackpool Council to support the holiday activities and food programme (HAF). As part of our continued commitment to social value and supporting the most disadvantaged children in the region, £5 a day of every temp booking (£25 a week per worker) is invested back into the community to support the most disadvantaged children in Blackpool.

Programme aims

Funded by the government, the aim of the programme is to make free places available to children receiving benefits - related free school meals for the equivalent of at least four hours a day, four days a week and for six weeks a year during the Easter, Christmas and summer holidays.

To support the overwhelming need in the town, Blackpool Council are looking to expand this programme to 9 weeks a year (October, February and May ½ terms) and require support to fund these remaining school holidays.

Every temp teacher we place in your school, supports a child

Holden Knight Education’s commitment to being an ethical provider of staffing solutions makes this a cause we are extremely passionate about. So, for every day one of our temporary teaching staff are supporting your school, £5 is invested to help a vulnerable child in Blackpool. We firmly believe that as a collective, we can work together with our partners to help contribute to this much needed programme.
