Description


– To be familiar with diseases of female organs (from diagnostic to treatment), with specific knowledge about the local variants of gynaecological diseases and conditions
– Analyse records, reports, test results or examination information to diagnose medical condition of patient.
– Getting Information – Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources from the patients, to be able to have necessary information for a good clinical judgment
– To be familiar with Ultrasound Diagnostics (trans abdominal and transvaginal) in Obstetrics and Gynecology and in particular in infertility
– To interpret medical laboratory test results, or diagnostic image techniques
– To write technical health or medical documents
– Prescribe or administer therapy, medication and other specialised medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease or injury.
– To explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.
– Monitor patients conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary.
– Advise patients and community members concerning diet, activity, hygiene and disease prevention
– To refer patients to medical specialists or other practitioner when necessary
– To collaborate in coordination for activities of other colleagues (gynaecologists, anaesthesiologists, nurses, students, assistants, specialists, therapists and other health care staff)
– To consult with or provide consulting services to other physicians

Provide Consultation and Advice to Patients

– Counsel patients concerning diet and healthy lifestyles
– Refer patients to community resources
– Prescribe or recommend drugs, medical services or other forms of treatment
– Plan, implement or administer health programs in hospitals, businesses or communities for prevention and treatment of injuries or illnesses related to Obstetrics and Gynecology
– Prepare government and organisational reports on birth, death and disease statistics, workforce evaluations or the medical status of individuals
– To ensure at any time that his/her job is within the regulatory and legal frame of the UAE (HAAD and MOH regulations, UAE`s law, etc.)
– Conduct research to develop or test medications, treatments or procedures to prevent or control disease or injury
– Advanced knowledge of Reproductive Medicine, which includes, but it is not limited to:
– To provide a service of investigation and treatment of infertile couples / Advanced Knowledge
– To be familiar with fertility treatments. Advanced knowledge
– To perform all clinical routines related with Reproductive Medicine / Advanced Knowledge
– To collaborate with the Surgical activity of the Unit
– To collaborate and coordinate with the other doctors to organise the team, so that a continuous medical attention can be provided, including weekends when needed
– To provide honest information to patients about chances and limitations
– To provide the highest standard of patient care through effective and professional teamwork
– To work under standard protocols
– To update knowledge so that the best choices are offered to patients
– To collaborate with clinical research
– To participate in national and international congress on behalf of AAFC
– To provide support to the Marketing team to promote the clinic
– Supervision of junior staff in the development of their training
– Documenting/Recording Information – Entering, transcribing, recording, storing or maintaining information in written or electronic/magnetic form
– Collect, record and maintain patient information, such as medical histories, reports and examination results under AAFC policies
– To collaborate with his/her colleagues in updating medical protocols, to ensure they are including the latest advances and accepted best practices for each procedure
– Performing Administrative Activities – Performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork
– Order medical laboratory tests
– Prepare patient reports
– Prepare required government reports
– To communicate cases to the Health Authorities, following instructions, circulars or regulations dictated by them prepare reports for management

To collaborate with admin departments (Human Resources, quality management, insurance department, accountancy, etc.)

– Communicating with Persons Outside Organisation – Communicating with people outside the organisation, representing the organisation to customers, the public government and other external sources. This information can be exchanged in person, in writing, or by telephone or e-mail.
– Communicate technical information
– Make presentations on health or medical issues

To present AAFC in medical forums, congresses, professional meetings, etc., whenever it can be required

– Training and Teaching Others – Identifying the educational needs of others, developing formal educational or training programs or classes and teaching or instructing others (trainee doctors, nurses, etc.)
– Guiding, Directing and Motivating Subordinates – Providing guidance and direction to subordinates, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance

Qualifications
